AUDITION INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in The Singers!
The Singers—Minnesota Choral Artists and Artistic Director Matthew Culloton are welcoming vocal/choral resumes from all singers interested in an audition for the 2009-2010 Concert Season. Resumes should be sent to office@singersmca.org. We will then be in touch to schedule an audition.
Callbacks will be on Monday, August 31.
Each fifteen-minute audition will include one prepared art song (any language), a prepared excerpt that will be sent to you in advance, sight-reading, and general vocalizations. Singers can bring an accompanist or be prepared to sing without accompaniment.
The Singers is a fully professional choir. All members receive a stipend for each rehearsal, concert, and recording session. If you are selected to become a member of The Singers, you will be required to purchase the concert attire at your own expense. Men wear a tuxedo and women wear a coordinated dress.
Rehearsals are held in Minneapolis primarily on Monday evenings from 7-10 pm. Thursday evening rehearsals will occur approximately twice per project. A detailed calendar will be sent prior to the audition.

What Sweeter Music: Christmas with The Singers (December 5, 6, 12, 13)
Morten Lauridsen Festival and Residency (February 4, 5, 6)
