Robert Shaw: A Centennial Celebration

To celebrate 100th anniversary of his birth, The Singers present a program drawn from works that Shaw championed on recordings and tours. From folk songs and motets, to Debussy’s Trois Chansons and Rachmaninoff’s Vespers, this concert is a retrospective of Shaw’s important and lasting legacy.

My Soul’s Repose – Saturday, March 12

Minneapolis-based composer JAKE RUNESTAD has become the biggest name in choral music of late, and The Singers are proud to present the MN premiere of “The Hope of Loving,” his new multi-movement work for chorus and string quartet. MY SOUL’S REPOSE also includes works by Barber, Howells, Betinis, and Edie Hill. ONE NIGHT ONLY!

The Singers’ Community Sing: Fauré’s Requiem

Join Artistic Director Matthew Culloton, organist Aaron David Miller, and The Singers as we join together to sing one of choral music’s most-beloved masterworks. This is a FREE EVENT, and music will be provided at the door.

The Singers to Visit Owatonna and Blue Earth this weekend!

State Touring brings The Singers to Morris, Sauk Rapids, Owatonna, and Blue Earth. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board , thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
