Aaron Wulff joins The Singers as Executive Director

September 16, 2013

The Singers are excited to announce the addition of Aaron Wulff as the organization’s Executive Director. This appointment comes at the beginning of The Singers’ 10th Anniversary Season.

Aaron Wulff has spent a lifetime as a performer in music, theater, and
dance, and comes to The Singers with over 10 years of arts management
experience executing successful growth strategies for Twin Cities’ arts
organizations.

Aaron earned his degree in Political Science and Theater from St. Olaf
College in 2001, where he sang with the St. Olaf Men’s Chorus and acted in
a variety of theater dramas and musicals. Before graduating he earned a
National Collegiate Communications Arts Award, and was fortunate to intern
for the U.S. House of Representatives in Minnesota’s First Congressional
District.

In 2002 he began studying dance with Fred Astaire Dance Studios, and in
2003 he certified as a highly commended instructor in American Ballroom
and Rhythm styles for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. That same
year he became General Manager of On Your Toes School of Dance in
Minneapolis, overseeing their ballroom and children’s performing arts
programs. He has competed nationally in ballroom and Latin dance as a
member of the National Dance Council of America, and studied for four
years under World Pro/Am Champion Jeff Nehrbass.

From 2007 to 2013 Aaron took over as General Manager and Executive
Director of The Rose Ensemble, an internationally-acclaimed chamber vocal
ensemble in St. Paul. Aaron has also served on the board of directors for
the St. Paul Arts and Culture Partnership, and has studied Arts and
Cultural Management at the University of St. Mary’s. He continues teaching
ballroom dance and enjoys spending time with his wife Martha and son Liam
in Maplewood.
