The Great Minnesota Giving Day

As you can imagine, The Singers are facing a very difficult time in its history, and we are extremely grateful for any help you can share. Even though live performances are not happening, our entire Board and staff have been hard at work strengthening the organization for our return to in-person activities as soon as possible. During this period of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Directors has teamed with Forte Leadership (Nadine Wethington, founder) out of Washington D.C. to create new a Mission Statement, Vision Statement, and codify our Organizational Values. At the same time, Matthew Culloton has presented his Artistic Vision, steering the organization into the next decade. These documents will be approved by the Board in November 2020 and then shared with our community of supporters.

We hope you have a chance to listen to the new podcast, The Singers’ Vault, hosted by Matthew Culloton (and available on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Spotify, and other outlets). Each episode features rarely heard live concert footage from 2004-2020, as well as interviews with our singer artists and favorite composers. We are proud to host a digital concert season this year, highlighting Minnesota composers Timothy Takach, Jocelyn Hagen, Craig Carnahan, Edie Hill, and others! Check out singersmca.org to learn more.

All of us at The Singers wish you and yours good health and as much optimism as you can muster in these difficult days. Our “constant” remains the impactful presence of choral music in our lives. We are continually embracing the silver linings that from time to time do appear, and we are hard at work considering how we will continue to evolve in this changing world.

Please consider donating to The Singers today at GiveMN-page. Thank you!
