Minneapolis-based composer JAKE RUNESTAD has become the biggest name in choral music of late, and The Singers are proud to present the MN premiere of “The Hope of Loving,” his new multi-movement work for chorus and string quartet. MY SOUL’S REPOSE also includes works by Barber, Howells, Betinis, and Edie Hill. ONE NIGHT ONLY!
Join Artistic Director Matthew Culloton, organist Aaron David Miller, and The Singers as we join together to sing one of choral music’s most-beloved masterworks. This is a FREE EVENT, and music will be provided at the door.
State Touring brings The Singers to Morris, Sauk Rapids, Owatonna, and Blue Earth. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board , thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
