Welcome to Our 18th Season!
Nothing beats the power of The Singers performing together again, so we are excited to present Let Our Love Be Heard, our 2021-2022 concert season!
It’s a time for us to share both in celebration and contemplation after an 18-month absence from the stage. As always, the safety of our artists, staff, board, and audience remains our primary concern, so we are happy to provide a variety of ways to experience this season.
For those of you ready to venture back to the concert halls, you’ll enjoy Dale Warland at 90: A Legacy Celebration at Orchestra Hall, Craig Hella Johnson’s stirring oratorio Considering Matthew Shepard, and our beloved What Sweeter Music concerts in December. Our artists are thrilled to perform for you such a full array of powerful choral works!
If you prefer other viewing options, we will be offering on-line, digital concerts, as well as our podcast (The Singers’ Vault), and our Virtual Valentine Gala. Our wonderful pre-season kickoff concert outside at Minnehaha Falls was so successful that we know we’ll be outside again!
On top of all this exciting musical news, we are proud to welcome Janette Davis as our new Executive Director! Janette has a wealth of arts administrative experience, a positive and engaging spirit, and the thoughtfulness to work with us to craft our significant future. This will be shaped by the work the board completed during the pandemic, resulting in new mission, vision, and values statements, as well as a clarified Artistic Vision for The Singers.
On behalf of all the artists in the choir, we look forward to singing for you again as we let our love be heard!
Matthew Culloton, Founding Artistic Director and Joseph Osowski, Board President
