Bach’s and Arvo Pärt’s meditative sacred works, as well as their solo organ music, mean that musical contrast is the order of the day. Choral works to include Bach’s Der Geist hilft; Sanctus (BWV 238); Nach dir, Herr, verlanget mich (BWV 150) and Pärt’s Magnificat; I am the True Vine; Nunc Dimittis. Organ solos by both composers will also be featured. Along with The Singers and Aaron David Miller will be a small chamber orchestra local Baroque players.
